Joy riding your VEHICLES/ATV'S for the beach and riding up ESTUARIES / NATURE RESERVES will result in the banning of Jetski's in Natal. Please think of other riders before accomplishing this!
When refuelling, please avoid spilling fuel into your water, as this affects marine life.
Compulsory Safety Features:
• 15m tow rope
• Signalling mirror
• Pencil-flare kit
• Sea anchor / Drogue
• Orange sheet
• Water / Cooldrink
• Never ride and not using a LIFEVEST!
When launching into the surf, always push from the rear handles so your nose of the ski breaks with the waves. Only start your ski after the engine is deep enough in the water, to prevent yourself from blocking your cooling lines. If your engine stops in the surf, wait the rear handles and surf your ski in, or obtain another rider to tow you in. Leaving your ski during the surf will result in damage. The rider to the wave have always right of way. Avoid dropping in on other jetski riders! To prevent rebuilding your impeller every weekend, eradicate your pump in water before firing up and don't start your engine after beaching. To prevent problems for yourself:
• Don't ride the shore break
• Always look out for other jetski's
• Always lean when beaching
• If possible, wear head gear and sunblockTo stop problems for others:
• Don't jump the back of waves time for the beach
• Always consider people within the beach before beaching
• Always lookout for other jetski'sSome people would like to see jetski's banned. If we retain the above-mentioned in mind, then jetsking at Laguna or anywhere else can be safe and hassle free. If you see reckless riders, don't hesitate to mention how you do things, naturally it is a personal beach too!
